SORRY, BUT WE ARE OUT OF STOCK OF ALL BANDS EXCEPT THE GREENT BANDS

Training with bands attached to the barbell will make you stronger and more powerful than training with barbells alone!  I now offer our own brand of resistance bands, called www.danbakerstrength.com bands!

We introduced our own bands many years ago to improve the quality of the bands we sell and so we can save our valued customers money.  There are many cheap bands on the market now, so get the ones that are used by the pro teams and institutes and academies of sport!

Our bands are offered in four different resistances.  All bands are 1 meter long, 4.5 mm thick seamless latex rubber constructed in layers to help prevent breakage. They vary in width, which determines their resistance.  They are sold only in pairs, and come with a 1-year warranty.  Postage is typically $10 per order – Get the Special Pack, with postage = $100!!!

  • #1 Purple bands = $35 (per pair) – each band can add up to 10+ kg - OUT of STOCK

  • #2 Red bands = $45 (per pair) – each band can add up to 20+ kg OUT of STOCK

  • #3 Blue bands= $55 (per pair) – each band can add up to 28+ kg OUT of STOCK

  • #4 Green bands = $65 (per pair) – each band can add up to 50+ kg

  • * Special Pack of bands = $90 (a pair of red and a pair of blue, save $10)

I highly recommend the Special Package to get started because the #2 and # 3 (red and blue coloured) bands are the bands that get most use for most athletes. The red band set up under the bench press as in the associated photo will add about 17-20+ kg of resistance to the lock-out of the bench press (depending upon arm length etc), ideal for benchers ranging from 80 to 150 kg.

The #3 blue will add 24-28 kg, which is necessary for athletes who bench press more than 150 kg. For the squat, the tension can vary more depending upon the athlete’s height and the set-up used to anchor the bands.  Again, if the athletes squat up to 140 kg, a pair of #2 reds is recommended.  For squatters in the range of 140-200kg the #3 blue pair is ideal.  For big squatters over 200kg, either use the #4 green pair OR use both the #2 red and #3 blue together, which delivers about the same resistance as a pair of #4 greens.  Use the same bands for deadlifts.
